The Rio Mar Beach Resort & Spa,  a 600-room luxury resort, boasts two championship golf courses, including the Tom & George Fazio Ocean Course with its famous oceanfront 16th hole and the Greg Norman River Course, a golf clubhouse and pro shop. There is also a Peter Burwash Tennis Center with 11 Har-Tru tennis courts and two hard courts, a spa and health club, fitness center, beauty salon, full-service casino, two freeform pools, three Jacuzzis, waterslide, 11 dining and entertainment venues, as well as designer shops and boutiques. The Ocean Suites:
The exclusive Ocean Suites, 66 luxurious one and two bedroom suites, feature private balconies with spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. Guests will experience personal and distinctive service from a staff that is eager to meet their every need. The Ocean Suites VIP designation will ensure preferential dining reservations, tee times, and tour activities.

The Ocean Suites experience includes: personalized airport greeting by our Destination Services team; General Manager welcome reception (seasonally); twice-daily housekeeping, including turndown service; upgraded bath amenities, coffees and teas; in-suite welcome amenity (fresh flowers), personalized reservations system with on-line follow-up and review; pre-arranged personal requests including, microwave, VCR, and fax machine.

    LOCATION INFORMATION
    The Rio Mar Beach Resort & Spa sprawls across 500-acres on Puerto Rico's northeast coast and includes a palm-lined one-mile secluded beach adjacent to the Caribbean National Forest, known among the islanders as El Yunque.
    Only 19 highway miles (30 minutes) to the east of San Juan's Luis Munoz Marin International Airport, off Puerto Rico Highway 3, north of the Caribbean National Forest and west of Puerto Rico's famous Luquillo Beach.


    TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION
    Scheduled shuttle and/or limousine transportation is available to the San Juan International Airport.

    * The Rio Mar Beach Resort & Spa has regular and exclusive shuttle service provided by Drangonfly Adventures. Every shuttle has VCR which, shows a complete tour of the Resort on the way over to the property. Amenities are offered during the transfer to the resort at no extra cost.

    The Rio Mar Beach Resort & Spa shuttle service is at the airport from the time the first and last flight arrives into the San Juan International Airport daily. Guests are met in the baggage claim area by our English & Spanish speaking airport "Meet & Greet" teams, who carry appropriate Wyndham Rio Mar Resort signage. Guests are directed to the luggage pick-up area corresponding to their flight and then to the designated waiting area for The Rio Mar Beach Resort & Spa shuttle. We provide transportation within thirty (30) minutes from arrival. Guests are responsible to pay porterage for all baggage.

    For departure, we recommend that guests depart the resort three hours prior to their flight time. For shuttle reservations (both arrival and departure), please contact the hotel concierge to make arrangements.

    Shuttle charges can be posted to the individual guest room account. Group-organized transfers can be posted to a master account. Please contact the Transportation Group Sales Executive on property.
